Written and researched by a Buddhist Monk, this book explains the Buddhist point of view, starting at the beginning with the formation of the universe and the progression and development of morality in society, up until the time of the Buddha, including economic, political and relationships between people. It is written in academic form, based on research from original Pali and Sanskrit texts. Excerpt from the book: Today, there are over 550 million Buddhists worldwide. As the spread of Buddhism continues, people are keenly interested in learning its various aspects. To assist such readers, I present my research under the title “Social Aspects of Early Buddhism.” I, too, was deeply interested in investigating the many aspects of Buddhism during my primary and secondary studies. I chose the above-mentioned topic because I thought the research done in this field was scarce.
