Every so often a group of students can come together and with a bit of acceptance towards one another, a good dose of passion, and a whole lot of talent, produce something great. In Mr. Albright’s fourth period Creative Writing class, twenty-five high school kids met every other day, on “A” days, and proved just that. This common desire led to an intense and productive bond, and in Spitting Hot Fire: Looking Forward to “A” Days, a collection of short stories, poetry, and plays, this group of diverse but like-minded students shows what they can do.
