"Treasure Unearthed.."
First, a confession. When I first started reading Wil's blog, years back.. I seriously clicked on it because I was nostalgic about Star Trek and interested in "Wesley Crusher - where is he now?". How shamed I am now at that initial impulse, but also grateful - because without it I would never have discovered one of my favourite writers.
Wil is "just a geek" by his own admission - he's one of US. He knows what it's like to be so stupefied by admiration that you can't string three intelligible words together to one of your heroes - I fear that's exactly how I'd be if he and I ever crossed paths.
