"Tears of the Magpie a real cliffhanger" Agree with RyanKeith's comments - this first effort by a relatively unknown author (at least at this time - but maybe not for long? But more on that later) out on the west coast, is a real ball-buster of a cold war thriller. Packed full of candid, intriguing insights into the world of the two Koreas (the author spent two years in Korea), "Tears" is a terse, yet suspense filled account of DIA spy Wayne Randle's adventures into the cloak-n-dagger world of 007's. Wonderful story-telling. Good knowledge of the geographical setting and the language. About the only thing missing to really top off this first try at a spy thriller, would be more steamy, graphic sex. And, rumor has it that Wayne Randle is soon off on other adventure. I say "Go for it!" I give "Tears" a big thumbs-up 5 Stars.

"Fantastic !!!" "Tears of the Magpie" is a terrific effort from its fledgling author, and is a highly poignant tale considering the state of world affairs today between the U.S. and N. Korea.
I have no doubt the hero of the book, agent Wayne Randle will go down as one of the great literary characters of the 21st century.
