"Meaningful and heartbreaking" "That Day In September" is so well-written, you can picture that morning and feel the emotions of those present. I found that Artie Van Why wrote this book beautifully, taking us on the journey and sharing with us the personal lessons he learned as a result of this terrible time. Thank you!

"Touching story! A must-read for all! " Artie Van Why provides a very personal and touching perspective on the horror of 9/11 and the impact it had on an otherwise normal life. We often think of those who lost their lives or loved ones on that terrible day; of the victims and the heroes. In this book, however, Van Why shares the shock and angst of a witness so close to the event that he had to run for his life, as well as how these events changed him and his life. It's a touching account that reminds us that the survivors have also struggled to find peace and normalcy in the aftermath of terror. Artie is a hero in his attempt to save an injured victim, but also in speaking to the plight of the many survivors. Great read! Share with your family & friends!

"That Day in September" "That Day in September" is a compelling and very personal perspective on the events of the September 11th World Trade Center disaster. Van Why allows the reader an account of this horrific day and how September 11th changed his life forever, as it did the lives of an entire nation and world. The book allows the reader to not only have a first-hand account of the events of the day, but also to enter the author's world before and after that day and the life changes it brought about. I was greatly moved by "That Day in September" and appreciate the author's personal reflections which made me feel that I was there with him not only in this tragedy, but also in his life that changed forever and began anew. "That Day in September" is a great addition to my own library and I highly recommend that you purchase it for your own personal collection.
