"In A Word: FUN!"
What a treat this first collection of the Toffee stories is! I knew nothing about the character and was unfamiliar with the work of Charles F. Myers but the concept for the stories just grabbed my interest and I thought I'd give Volume One a try.

I'm glad I did! The three stories in this volume are just, plain fun! Lots of action, witty dialogue and incredible pace. The stories move like rockets!

Toffee, the brain child (literally) of Marc Pillsworth, follows her creator out of his dreams and into reality. The engaging little minx then goes on to turn Marc's world upside down, giving it a much needed boost of excitement in the process.
... More > />From here Toffee cause Marc problems with his jealous wife and helps Marc battle a mad scientist.

As you can see from the quick recap above, the reader never knows where these stories are going. They are a sheer pleasure to read and I'll be picking up the remaining volumes ASAP.

How Hollywood missed these stories, I'll never know.

If you're looking for some engaging, light-hearted fun, these tales are for you. Don't miss Toffee. She doesn't like to be ignored.
