"This book is a great read......if you like fantasy you will enjoy this"
I like fantasy books, games, and movies. This book has everything a fantasy especially a "dark" fantasy should have. This book has excellent battles (small and large scale) that include sword fighting, and magic; many people show courage and bravery against unbelievable odds and almost certain death. Each of the main characters has a destiny that links them together, that helps aid in the resistance.

"Hopefully the next big sci-fantasy writer"
I've only read a small portion of it so far but the guy is pretty deep. Touching on age old questions of good and evil, the world and self knowledge and perception. The past and present politics and dilemnas cut a little too close to our times, it's somewhat frightening. "God save our laughing prophet of doom."
"A great epic for the ages!"
I am impressed with this story. I am only halfway through, but I really love it. I like his writing style and the character growth throught the epic. The battlescenes are well-described, but not overdone. The conflicts are intense and dramatic. If you like epic stories, then you'll like this one.

I love this novel. Mammina truly has a talent for writing fantasy stories. I have already passed the book onto some friends. Some parts I had to read over again, especially "The Trials" Check it out! This book needs to get out into the hands of readers everywhere. Its just that much fun to read. Thanks for the killer ride, Mammina!
