"Seasoned Pro" I was very happy to hear about Shane Gilreath's new offering: The Art of Haiku. Over the many years of dedication to his art, he has achieved a warmth, clarity and vital attunement to the here and now.

In this, his second book, each colorful piece pauses on daily existence as the cycles of life are exalted with vibrant, abstract compositions and collages. I sense a shrewd understanding of how the world works, and a deep respect for life. Shane is a seasoned pro in The Art of Haiku.

A warning: do not open this book unless you are willing to lose track of time or your own sense of self!

"The Art of Haiku" Shane's book is a delight. His simple abstract style of art works very well as haiga. I have found several favourites amongst its pages. Well done!

"Digital Haiga at it's Best" It has been an absolute delight to read Shane's book of haiga. Shane's haiga are innovative,
colorful and stretches the boundries of modern digital haiga.
His poetry certainly travels full spectrum going from the most serious to child-like playfulness.

The book itself is well conceived and very attractive. It would be a great addition to anyone's library.

Bravo, Shane.

"Re: THE ART OF HAIKU" Look! It's mother and father approved. It doesn't get any better than that!

"The Art of Haiku is a Dynamite Project" Shane Gilreath has done it again. The Art of Haiku is a colourful, whimsical follow-up to Shane's first haiga collection, Reflekshins: Inspirational and Contemplative Imagery.

Both Shane's poetry and images can stand alone, but combined, they pack a dynamic wallop.

Sure to please, The Art of Haiku is a must for any poetry and art lover's library.
