"Enjoyed book on multiple levels" I recently read the article in the News and Observer and was intrigued. As a former resident of Chapel Hill, NC, I was aware that Falls Lake existed but that's all I knew. I knew nothing of it's history and significance. I do now. However, I found this book to be much more than a well written historical account. It caused me to slow down a little and reflect on my life in ways that are hard to express. I am grateful to the author for taking the time to write this book. I would recommend this book to anyone regardless of their connection to North Carolina and Falls Lake. If nothing else it will cause you to slow down a little and reflect. In this hectic day and age in which we live, that's surely worth the modest price of this book.
