"the bookhouse" Mrs. Charmaine Smith has written a very entertaining, and whimsical novel. As a debut novel one finds that more of this story line will be future endevors. The story is about a house that can turn any storybook read, into a real life adventure. Jesse and his dog edie meet some wonderful new friends after he is adopted by his Aunt Charm. Througout the story the children embark on advetures while trying to save the house from the villan Mr. Sneed. One of the best parts of the story are however the four mischevious mice. They provide a very comical side to the story. The Bookhouse an excellent read.
