"THE FORCE WITHIN" We have all found ourselves, at some time in life, with little or no moorings to beliefs or goals that we could understand how to fit into who we are – or who we want to become. It is inherent in human nature that we are task and goal driven. Through the vehicle of imaginary Jedi training, Naya helps us navigate troubled waters and reach a safe harbor of internal balance. The journey is spiritual enough to entice us onward and simple enough to fit into any doctrine without negating any core tenets we wish to keep.

"the force within"
from the preview i would say that the author has led to believe that there are no absolute spiritual truths only our own personal. however just as there are very real empirical physical truths such as gravity and wind though they are not visible, there is also absolute truths spiritually. rather than one trying to create ones own spiritual reality it would be a better use of our limited life span to search for the absolute spiritual truth and test it empirically. i personally have done this and found that while many religions appear to be the same...the one tie among them is that religion attempts to get people to earn their way through various sacraments or good works to... More > the higher plane or realm or idea of heaven. The ONLY exception to this is that God has written a book called the HOLY BIBLE and it teaches that one cannot earn their way to heaven in any way because "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." however because God is "not willing that any should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth" he has sent his son the Lord Jesus Christ (God manifest in the flesh) to pay the debt of our sins by giving his own self as a sacrifice on the cross (the innocent dying for the guilty). While many will try to earn their way by doing religious works and ultimately find that this is a false way of salvation. But one need not waste time searching when God has already provided the way, the truth and the life through his only begotten son. fiction such as star wars which i personally enjoy as well is not the basis for our spiritual lives...we should not put faith in sinful men, but in God who loves us and would not keep such truth hidden or mysterious. It is plainly given in the bible for us to hear and believe. Why waste a lifetime consoling our own spirits with vain religion or perceptions we get from our voice within...when we are sinful as the bible says "the heart is deceitful above all things, who can know it?"...believe on God's son and find truth ABSOLUTE and a loving heavenly FATHER who has done the 'work' for you in salvation...all you have to do is be willing to recieve it! < Less
