"Rainbow's Revelations" I really enjoyed reading this delightful little story to two three year olds we had staying over last week. It would also be a great book for slightly older children to read themselves. There are some great ‘cliff hanger’ moments that encourage them to read on and find what happens next.

I enjoyed the book too! The guinea pig herself has a distinctive style of speech which someone makes the whole thing more authentic. Talking of authentic, the book’s marketing blurb states that the story was based on real events . . . if that includes the escaped snake (oops – given some of the plot away) then that’s one house I won’t be visiting, even to meet the adorable Miss Rainbow!

A charming little story which will transport any young reader or listener to a magical world of escapism, but with real life morality intact!!
