"The Ice Room "
I was very interested to read this book and bought it as soon as it was published. I have had the privilege of meeting Emily Ovenden and I was very anxious to see what her style and method of writing would be. I find her to be a very vivacious and exciting person. She strikes me as a very talented person.
The book did not disappoint in any way. She kept my attention from Page one right to the end. Her characters were extremely interesting and very real. She has a way of writing that I enjoyed very much. The book is humorous and yet thought-provoking, too, as she weaves her story.
I know this is her first book and I sincerely hope it will not be her last. The World needs more writers like Emily.
