The Lexical Funk takes a unique and wonderful approach to the traditional short story. Wholly original while still relatable, the author has the ability to draw you into his stories almost immediately, feeling and experiencing the wide spectrum of emotions availalle in each unique experience or perspective.

"A good pause in a hectic life."
What a book this was!!!!! For not being of a large size it made me feel quite a bit of emotion but in an unconventional way. I laughed out loud and made the people around me give strange stares. I pondered about the way I thought about things and if I was really like the person Daniel was describing. My favorite short story in it has to be "Starlight Terror and the Cappuccino Machine". One of those that left you thinking what the fuck was this guy on when he wrote this. In fact a lot of the book is that way, mostly all of the book is that way. Wonderful ramblings of a person that thinks all to much from the "reads" of things. If the economy wasn't so bad... More > these days I would buy up a few copies of this book and give it to my friends that need a good release from their day to day drama and monotony of life. And Daniel if you read this (which I'm sure you will) I whole heartedly enjoyed your book and would love for you to at least be in the works for another one. Excellent and extraordinary!

"Pure genius." I found this book to be very creative, clever and humorous. It like nothing I've ever read before :) Fantastic.

The short stories were very entertaining. I finished this book in under 2 days, got me hooked.
