It was like you were there and I was! The author's adventures are true to life as I remember them. I also was in the Air Force in Sacramento and went to San Francisco many times between 1966 and 1972.
People of all ages should read this book. Those of us that were around in the 60's will love it and see that the "summer of love" was not all love and that the Viet Nam war for many was a total fraud and killed all those guys for nothing.
For those that are younger, they will learn what it was like then and see how similar it is to today's idiotic and wasteful war and our total idiot of a presidient. Maybe some of the kids in their teens and 20's will get off their asses and take ACTION to stop this war!
