To “catechize” means to teach biblical truth in an orderly way, usually by question and answer. This book contains a revision of “The Baptist Catechism” first published by Baptists in 1693 in London, England. It is patterned after the well-known reformed Westminster Shorter Catechism. Also included is a lengthy and detailed confession of faith and a theology-driven philosophy of ministry. This book is sent forth with the prayer that God would use it to establish contemporary Christians in the foundational doctrines of biblical faith and practice.
