This book is all about stretching your faith to be a person who steps out of their comfort zone to meet God who is waiting on the waters of life which are often uncertain. Waiting for you to not only walk to Him, but walk with Him. At the end of each devotion is an "Intimate Moment with Christ",a section to reflect on areas of your journey and walk with Christ. Most of the devotions you will read have been inspired by her son who lives with Autism every day. As she watches him and his grasp of Christ, it has challenged her in her own walk with the Lord and what it means to truly become a water walker. Angel's prayer is that God will use her books as an avenue to draw you into a deeper relationship with the Lord that is truly intimate as you choose to leave the boat and walk on the waters of uncertainty into His safe embrace.

"Uplifting"
As a parent of child with Autism I found Mrs. Thompson's book to be very uplifting. So often we only hear the negative and we hear from our families that we are either bad parents or our children are "bad". Thank you for sharing your heart and how God has touched your life through your sons view of life.

I just found out that Ms. Thompson is donating to the Organization for Autism Spectrum Information and Support (OASIS) 50% of royalties that she earns from her books! Ms. Thompson, that is wonderful! I will be recommending this book. I hope the proceeds can help the families at OASIS.

Angel knows what it is to be a wife and mother, especially the mother of a special-needs child, but the down-to-earth wisdom she shares in the stories of her family will touch the heart of anyone facing the normal (and abnormal) challenges of life.
