"Underground City" This public domain text from Project Gutenberg is the translation by W.H.G.Kingston done for Sampson Low et al. in 1877. The text appears to be an automatic conversion from the Gutenberg text and has formatting errors. In addition the 1911 edition which was used as the original text is known to have other typesetting errors. Professor Arthur Evans recommends the Munro translation which is not yet available on Project Gutenberg however. Also a new translation has just been published in Scotland. Since the entire pdf file is available as a preview, readers might consider using this as a reference copy until a better public domain version becomes available. W. H. G. Kingston was a famous juvenile author, and his translation is probably all right, although I have not examined it in detail.
