Some very valuable tips! I had never thought about following the ball after it hit the pins, but that little tip has helped me immensely in noticing ball reaction and make those small adjustments to average over 200. Have shot a 298 and 288 since reading this book. In an industry with limited literature for the more advanced bowler, this a good little book.

By Colleen Ursone I am absolutely thrilled with this book! It has helped me in making my average of 133 to go to 147. I am so thrilled with how this material is written and how with simply making changes has restored my confidence in making the right adjustment to the lanes. I offered one of my teamates helpful pointers one nite and he went and bowled a 300 game that night. I can not wait to see how much I will improve in my summe league. This book is a must for any bowler!

4/18/2011 Update:
I am still using the book as a reference point when I am struggling with my timing or release. I've had some high scores, but the biggest difference I've noticed is eliminating those low scores when I can't find anything that will work. It was by far the most cost effective coaching tool I have ever purchased for bowling and it continues to pay off over a year after reading it for the first time. If you can't afford a lesson from a top notch coach like Gary, you can afford the $25 to buy the book. The information is well worth it.

Original review:
I bought the book on Amazon and it came last week. I haven't read it yet, but I did glance through a couple things before I... More > left for bowling on Monday in the release section because I felt like I was struggling in that area. After working with my release and timing in game one, I bowled my 6th 300 in game two. I can't wait to see what happens when I can read the entire book.

Recommended reading for anyone serious about improving their bowling game. < Less

Gary's book is a true success!!! I ordered Gary's book about a month ago and since then I've bowled multiple 299's and multiple 800 series' (804 and 813). At 17 years old I currently average 239 on house patterns and 197 on sport patterns and even at my caliber I still learn some valuable information from this book. I recommend this book to anyone who truly wants to become a True Bowler!!
