"Via Vai by Tullio Bertini" Via Vai, which translates as "coming and going", chronicles the continuing adventures of a truly remarkable Italian-American with an engaging life story. I have read Mr. Bertini's first book three times and have visited the village of his ancestors, Diecimo, where he was stranded as a child during World War II. Reading Via Vai, I learned of his "comings and goings" in the decade following his return to America, his re-acclimation into the country of his birth, and of his many accomplishments and contributions. His life story is truly inspirational.
