"Sounds worth experiencing" The first poem in this anthology might make one wonder. It is an experiment in word-sounds. In some ways, this is what the anthology contains: experiments in sounds by a poet who has the courage to admit that he is still on his life's journey. Here is variety. There are bits of wisdom, confession, mystery, carefully crafted phrases, humor, rhythmic beat, and surprising subtle and not-so-subtle emotions. It is easy to pick poems at random and to taste a bit of refreshment at Frederick Kesner's very personal style. If the reader listens, something unique to the author but universal to us all may be heard in these verses.
