"The wait for Waymaker was more than worth it!!!!"
So there I was a few years back walking through a Christian bookstore when I stumble on this book called Gideon's Dawn. I read the back cover and was immediately captivated and had to have it. I read it (probably about 3 or 4 times now) and was so excited to have found a book that captures all the elements of GREAT storytelling. Not only did this have a powerful Christian message but it also wraps you up in a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through!!! By the time I was done reading it the first time I took a look on the internet and saw that the next book, Waymaker, was coming out shortly and I ordered it only to... More > get the news that it wouldn't be coming out quite yet. I followed the update on Michael's website as so many other fans have anxiously waiting for any piece of news that would come along. Well it has been a long journey for everyone who read the first book and when I saw that Waymaker had been released I snatched it up instantly!!! Since then I have been reading it at every moment I could (even sacrificing my sleep to find out what happens on the next page!). And having just finished this book he other day I have to say the wait was so worth it!!! Michael Warden is an incredible author with an amazing story to tell!. I would recommend these books to anyone and am looking forward to next spring and the conclusion of this trilogy with The Word Within. Thanks Michael for never giving up and sticking with your convictions because I know that you have many fans out there, myself included, who love your work and we appreciate all you have done in writing these stories. Thanks again and I am counting down the days to next Spring!!! God Bless!!! < Less

"Words Brought to Life!"
Years ago, Michael Warden put out a deeply realized fantasy novel called "Gideon's Dawn." His characters were flawed and believable, making it a memorable beginning to what readers hoped would be a great trilogy. Then, due to publishing snags, the second book never came.

Now, at last, "Waymaker" is available to all, and I was first in line to buy a copy. With the detailed glossary in the back, I was able to jump back into Warden's world without too much trouble. The story kicks off with a fantastic battle at sea, then draws us along with the Waymaker, Gideon Dawning, and his ragtag crew, as they make their way on an epic journey while opposed by nearly... More > all they come across.

There are scenes in this book that you'll never forget, great fights and sorcery, and the ultimate power of the Words. The layers are multiple, with Hebrew and Latin phrases worked into a biblically true yet never overt theme. Despite a few minor spelling and editing errors, this is a fantastic book and the cover and layout look great! I cannot wait for the third in the series, and I'm thrilled to see Warden's Words being brought to life.

"Waymaker – The greatest novel I’ve read in a long time"
Many years ago, I received a novel for my birthday. It was called Gideon’s Dawn, and I immediately loved it. Full of a multitude of realistic, believable characters that drive a fast paced and action packed plot, make it hard to put down. Unfortunately, due to publishing issues, it took many years to get its sequel; Waymaker released. However it was definitely worth the wait. Picking up where Gideon’s Dawn left off, Gideon and his companions are once again thrust into breathtaking adventures, fast-paced battles and many surprises that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Powerful enemies and dangerous creatures assail the... More > company at every turn. Michael Warden is without a doubt one of the greatest fantasy writers of this century and no book collection is complete without this series. His magical writing will catch you up and transport you to the Inherited Lands where you’ll experience these adventures firsthand. I am greatly looking forward to the final installment of this series, coming later this year. So don’t hesitate. Buy this book today, or you’ll be missing out on one of the greatest adventures of all time.
