"Awesome book!" It's great to see the spanking world through the eyes of a true spanko. The book is well written, with great detail. Her movies aren't so bad either (hint, hint)!!! lol

"A fabulous read!" For any and all spanking enthusiasts, this book is a gem. Erica Scott is a charming writer. Her intelligence, wit and attention to detail bring her stories to life. Her joy for all things spanking shines through in each and every story. Erica's writing is a large part of what inspired me to find the courage to explore my desires, rather than keeping them hidden fantasies. For that, I am truly grateful. Thanks Erica. Fantastic job!

"They get just what they deserve!"
Erica Scott’s 'What Happens to Naughty Girls?' - A Review by Devlin O’Neill

This book could have been titled 'Confessions of a Mega-Brat,' but a rose by any other name is just as thorny, and in these 14 stories Erica does show what happens when girls are naughty, often in the extreme. Some of the tales are told in first person, either her own experience or her fantasies, and some are pure fiction, told in third person. Those in first person are rife with the bratty Erica barbs many of us have come to expect, if not necessarily relish when we’re on the immediate receiving end of them, and even in the stories about others it’s the... More > girl’s sharp tongue that often gets her into more trouble than whatever behavior prompted the guy to drag her across his lap in the first place. Perhaps I should be concerned that some girls of my closer acquaintance will learn from her bad example, but I suppose if they weren’t led astray by almost an hour of Erica’s verbal fusillade in ‘Stand Corrected: The Video’ then seeing a few brattish slings and arrows in print will cause no appreciable harm. Or maybe the girls I spank more or less regularly just want my belt to stay in the loops where it belongs, and have by now learned that less is more when it comes to brattitude.

In any case, I quite like Erica’s flights of fancy, such as when a strict stranger pops to life from an IM screen, and even more so the one where she is transported to the world of ‘Dark Shadows’ to be spanked and ravished by Quentin Collins. One can tell that the Quentin story was a labor of lust … er, love, and I had to chuckle at her issues with 19th century dress. She wore similar costuming for a video series a while ago, so knows whereof she speaks. There’s just something about split-back drawers that quickens my pulse. And of course I smiled all the way through ‘The Professor’s Lesson.’ She says the tale isn’t true, that she wasn’t at all like that when she was in college, but one has to wonder. Such matters aside, I really enjoyed Erica’s interaction, made up or otherwise, with someone almost as pedantic as I am.

While all the pieces in this collection are worthy, it’s Erica’s forays into pure fiction that I found most pleasing. One called ‘Days of Wine and Rosy Cheeks’ really impressed me, even though it was her first attempt at a spanking story, and she says it’s ‘corny.’ Perhaps I liked it because I simply am engaged more by verisimilitude, the appearance of truth, than by factual narrative. Be that as it may, I recommend the book as an entertaining romp through the mind of the West Coast’s premier mega-brat, with the caveat that a Top who leaves it lying around for anyone to pick up should listen carefully for Erica-isms – sharp, smart-alecky, inappropriate, and really nervy comments – that might creep into his Bottom’s repartee. Erica is an original and not to be imitated lightly, so strong sanctions are indicated to stem such impertinence, not to mention plagiarism. I’m thinking a nice wooden paddle, briskly applied.

Even Erica has a healthy respect for wood, and for Tops who know how badly she needs the purgative catharsis that is possible only when she is pushed beyond her limit. This theme is played with several variations through these stories, and for that reason as well I commend this volume to any fan of spanking life and art.

"My review from Erotica Revealed (www.eroticarevealed.com)"
Reviewed by Steven Hart

The answer to the title of Erica Scott’s collection of stories, What Happens to Naughty Girls? is quite obvious, and that is perfectly all right. They get spanked, of course, after consciously or unconsciously, or semi-consciously having worked themselves over the knee of some firm but luscious hunk.

Ms. Scott’s book is amiably clear about what she is doing and the results are charming, sexy, earthy and direct. She includes fourteen stories that are semi-autobiographical fantasies about spankings that she claims to have been given or thought about getting. Given the spanking... More > details, we are pretty sure she has done just that. The stories are the lively, no-nonsense misadventures of more or less the same girl/woman getting her bottom warmed. In fact they are pretty much the same story with different window dressings, but she makes no pretensions to doing otherwise. Thus finding out what happens to naughty girls is a predictable, effortless jaunt if you feel a spanking is what they need most. She certainly thinks so.

The femme figure is always naughty, cheeky, arrogant in an adolescent sort of way, and/or bratty, often has bad judgment or is possibly drunk, but she is never mean or tiresome. She may well be cranky, horny, or just in the mood to make trouble. Her characters discover that they think spanking is sexy despite their suffering derrieres.

On the other hand she wants the spankings to lead to sex after genuine punishment for being naughty. Okay. Fair enough. In fact, the spankings often seem pretty extreme as they extend from the lengthy application of an enraged male palm to more alarming use of a hairbrush or strap. We worry about her poor bottom. Still, both Erica and her behind soldier on bravely until her body betrays her arousal. Then of course the focus shifts to a sort of gauzy, romantic sex. That’s fine too.

In short, Erica, in all her various forms, gets what she wants and her pussy does too, even though she complains that it damply betrays her inner feelings when being spanked. It does just that and we are not unhappy about it. Just how naughty can such a girl be after all? Having worked that hard to get spanked, she really deserves some more tender attention.

Ms. Scott is a very straightforward, likeable writer though her work discloses nothing much about the inner life of her characters or, by extension, herself. Her men are all paternal, clearly very hot numbers to her way of thinking (and why not?), and beyond that largely ciphers. They do what she wants which is to be very dominating for an hour or two, spank her soundly, screw her attentively, and then hit the road.

As such What Happens to Naughty Girls? is an oddly feminist work. Nothing that happens in it is beyond the control of the female characters all of whom provoke and orchestrate the action. The Ken-doll spankers hardly seem to sense they are being manipulated even when they are told as much. So what one likes about this book is that while all these spankings must be very painful, they are exactly in the form she wants them. She is never in any danger, never truly bullied more than she wants, and she retains throughout the attitude of a darling little wise ass – who really ought to be spanked. < Less
