"Travel" This book will be a great help to anyone planning a trip to Italy or is planning to live there for a short/long time. It gives the prospective of one individual which is unique because he is an Italian American. You may have a different experience but reading this book before hand will give you things to look for and possibly avoid. I have lived in Italy and enjoyed the book very much.

"Completely Incompetent" In addition to having a home and living in Italy and being an American married to an Italian (born and raised - not Italian American). The message from this author only reinforces the Italian (and European) stereotype of "Stupid Americans." It is a testament to our ignorance as a society. But, we can help ourselves by looking to other sources if we wish to get an Italian experience. Perhaps I should write a book of my own.
