"Do Not Buy!" This magazine is a wannabe of a professional magazine. The chief editor, Tom Moran, has his artwork featured throughout, as if he can't get it published elsewhere. The poetry of editor Brian Yount is terrible. My eight year old niece has written better work. They try to give the magazine respectibility by featuring talented authors such as Jeff Strand while publishing foreign writers to look worldly such as poor amateur, Liam Davies who has the gall to give the book he's in a great review. Avoid this one at all costs.

"Come for the stories, stay for the interviews. " Be sure to check this out. It's more than just your run-of-the-mill horror 'zine. Interviews with Jack Ketckum, Jeff Strand and Nick Cato (REAL WRITERS!). Good quality, original fiction. "A Lullaby of Tiny Naked Angels" is the absolute best. Some really sick, twisted fairy tale poetry, too.

The art in this issue is just non-stop and really shows off the work. Well worth the money for the download, but the print version is a bit easier to read, IMO.

"This Mag is going places!" A quality print magazine that included well-written, innovative yet entertaining, fiction and poetry. Amazing illustrations, as well, and interviews with respected names in horror fiction. It won't be long before Wicked Karnival is gracing the stands of bookstores everywhere!
