Over a dozen years have passed since I started writing and speaking about unschooling. This is a collection of 48 previously published essays and the original longer version of the interview Emily Subler did in 1998. Book contains many photos of my children over the years.

Moving a Puddle, and other essays
Essays on learning in a home without school, on living respectfully with children and of creating a nest in which learning flourishes.

The book is a year old!

Second printing! I know it says fourth, but in availability terms, it's second. In me ordering a big batch, it's the second.

The known typos were repaired, and a lulu logo will be on the spine, and nothing else is changed.

I'm ordering 100 for the Live and Learn Conference in Albuquerque. That market is fairly saturated, I'm sure.

I notice that although a year ago postage for a single copy from Lulu was pretty expensive, and FedEx was the only choice, nowadays there are several levels of USPS (post office) and UPS (United Parcel Service) to choose from.

Thanks all who've looked and purchased! I uploaded a preview today. Lulu keeps getting easier and easier to use, which is great.

First day of availability!

Thursday 29 of September, 2005
September 29, 2005, I'm finally making this book available. I want to thank Jon Kream for technical assistance, Rue Kream for encouragement, Kelly Lovejoy for being so pushy, and Pam Sorooshian for years of being an encouraging sounding board and friend. If Kirby, Marty or Holly had any shame or embarrassment, it wouldn't have been possible for me to share the fun and poignant parts of their unschooling lives all these years. I hope you find something to help your family notch up the happiness a little in one area or another.

Thanks, all, for your interest.

Sandra
