Robert Burwell

Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, maybe I was destined to play a Gibson guitar. As a major turning point in my life, I began playing in a Rock and Roll band in my sophomore year in college. That eventually led to song writing, and recording of one of my original songs, on the Capitol Records label, which you can download below. As an extension of that creative process, my book, "Crossbow", was born out of a need to express what many have experienced in life, which is, how to overcome the trials and tribulations of life, and in particular, the problem of bullying. I sincerely hope that this little narrative, which is somewhat biographical, will help and inspire others who are in their formative years, to use their positive intellect to overcome life’s adversities, rather than to respond with physical violence. My "Crossbow", was the guitar. But there are many other ways to express life's frustrations in a positive manner. My hope is that everyone will find their right path.
