The Physical Lincoln Sourcebook (1.0a)
The Physical Lincoln Sourcebook is a database of medical and physiological observations pertaining to Lincoln's health. It is the companion book to The Physical Lincoln. The Sourcebook presents fully-organized medical histories for Lincoln, his sons, parents, and wife. Special topics include the most complete accounts anywhere of Lincoln's syphilis, Lincoln's smallpox, Lincoln's 1841 slump, Mary's litany of symptoms, and Lincoln's gait. It refutes the SCA5 hypothesis of Lincoln's gait. The book concludes with a 35-page annotated bibliography, designed to assist anyone approaching the Lincoln literature for the first time. Note: This is version 1.0 of the Sourcebook. It is no longer current. It remains available for owners of version 1.0 of The Physical Lincoln. It does not mesh well with version 1.1 of The Physical Lincoln. See physical-lincoln.com for more information.
