Rabbit Fool Press is a small press dedicated to publishing works by those on the margins: emerging writers, writers of color, arts activists and political writers, family history writers, and others who are interested in changing the world in the name of peace and justice through literature and art.
After being an editor in small and academic presses for ten years and an arts organizer for even longer, Vietnamese American poet Brandy Liên Worrall had a dream to own and operate a press that would provide publishing opportunities for emerging, ethnic, and political writers, such as herself. Thus, Rabbit Fool Press was born in 2006, with its inaugural publication being Worrall's first collection of her Poem of the Day (http://podbrandy.livejournal.com).
Rabbit Fool Press will publish at least three titles per year. For more information, send us a message!

This is the first collection from her poetry blog, chronicling her travels from rural Pennsylvania to Vancouver, British Columbia, and to other random places in between. Brandy Rabbit's Blog
2007 Dec 23 This summer, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and since August, have been undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Because of my diagnosis, it has taken me a while to get around to finish publishing the latest three volumes of podBrandy--but I did it! So now, there are seven collections of my poetry available, with an eighth one out soon! This is so exciting to me--I can't believe that I've amassed so much creative work. Writing poetry every day and publishing these collections has become part of my present healing journey. I hope other folks enjoy the poetry as well.
2007 Apr 26 It's been a year since I started publishing this podBrandy business. It's been fun, and I can't believe that I (almost) have five books out already! The fifth one features the artwork of my friend James Lawrence Ardena (http://www.jameslawrenceardena.com), who currently has an exhibit up at the Wing Luke Museum in Seattle's Chinatown. Thanks to everyone who has been reading the podBrandy series!
