This book is expressive of the motivations and sentiments of a "dreamer" who hopes to frame the proper issues for a national debate on how to attain for the Filipinos what John Adams told Thomas Jefferson, a "revolution in the minds" of the people and, perhaps, other peoples similarly situated. It also seeks to tease Big Uncle, in the light of the 9/11 tragedy, into considering the difficult task of dealing humbly, fairly and respectfully with the rest of the world and letting others go or be as best as they can be; and then before completing to remake the world in his image, subjecting himself first to the ordeal of the mirror test to see if his self-apotheosis as the epitome of democracy and liberty has not been so contrived in Orwellian guise.
