Rel Davis
Davis Family Publishing is the outlet for the Davis clan. Patriarch of the clan is the Rev. A.L. Davis formerly of Rapid City, SD, a pioneer mission pastor and first Southern Baptist missionary to the Sioux Nation.
His son, Rel Davis, is a retired Unitarian Universalist minister, now living in the the town of Mena in western Arkansas. Along with his wife, Edith Sloan, Rel served in Bulgaria with the Peace Corps from 2001-2003. Son Bill and his wife Patricia Vidmar Davis, also live in Mena, AR.

The Tapestry of a Life by A. L. Davis is actually four works in one. It is:
First, the autobiography of a most remarkable man, whose life has already spanned almost a century and who for the past 60 years has been an active and effective minister of the Gospel.
Second, a history of Southern Baptist expansion into the western and northwestern U.S. and of Southern Baptist expansion into Indian missions in Montana and South Dakota.
Third, an operating manual on how to start and to grow a New Testament church or mission.
