Sinister sisters and mayhem
Three sisters, beautiful, charismatic, charming, intelligent and young were divorced from their first husbands. They plot and execute the death of their second husbands for financial gain with guidance and consent of their greedy mother. They were living a life of ease and wealth outlined in the plan they were trained to accomplish. Problems arose when the son of a deceased victim inadvertently discovered their scheme and threatened them with exposure. Vulnerable by the news, they were forced to flee, the mother abetting and leading the way to possible freedom.

A lifelong love affair
They met in elementary school and she became his girl; he doted on her in high school and after graduation he was drafted during the Korean conflict. He wanted to be married but she asked to wait until he returned. While in Korea he received a ‘Dear John’ and later was taken prisoner, returning to her believing it was all some kind of mistake or poor joke. They were wed enjoying a loving but tumultuous marriage. After suffering divorces, charges, counter-charges, and ill will he successfully convinced his love to try again.

Physicians: Of occupations pursued by man the most prominent is the physician, the healer and a required friend of man who wards off our main enemy, the grim reaper.
Friendship within generations
A young woman not yet graduated from high school is living in a cheap furnished apartment with her baby daughter. Destitute, she had been evicted because her welfare check was stolen. An old man in her building discovered her plight and after talking with her and realizing her potential makes an offer: he will assist her, minding the child and offering financial support, indicating they could live as a family. Tentatively, with no choice, she agreed and her life began to change as she progressed from poverty to a life as a doctor of medicine with his assistance.

Recollections of retired men
A group of retired men in the community have a sixty-five and older softball league and are scheduled to play once a week. Finishing a game they would meet for a cookout and as old men will, swap tales regarding their experiences in the past. Their stories relate to life in Carlisle Trace span portions of three centuries. As the anecdotes unfold, their team is doing what is important to them; playing softball a game of their youth, enjoying the challenges, victories, defeats and camaraderie of good friendship.

International intrigue
The president of Russia was hospitalized in poor health. An American professor with a strong resemblance was asked to act as a double to reduce fears in the regime. He agreed but when the president did not survive the treatment he was requested to remain as a replacement until the next election. Accepting with anxiety and after consultation, he remained in Russia undertaking the monumental task of leadership. Confronting intolerable situations he reacted, attempting to rule and aid the people he had come to admire.

The court: The legal system, the entity that guarantees liberty contains checks and balances depends on the courts to ensure this occurs when a case is tried before the people.
A report of child abuse
A couple received good news regarding their future. Their happiness was shattered as their daughter made an incredible allegation of sexual abuse against her stepfather. A court battle developed under local and state media attention. The state Attorney General actively used the case to promote a personal agenda, providing assistance and direction in the prosecution of the case. The trial was bitterly fought and was placed in the hands of the jurors. The trial came to an abrupt, climactic and conclusion after the announcement of the jury verdict.

A felonious family man

He was a murderer, cheat, liar, thief, but was adorable to his lovers who see him as man without fault. In a moment of surprise and extreme anger makes a costly mistake and his life is changed forever. Martin, with his future destroyed and pursued by the authorities initiates a new life as Stewart, a life he visualized for himself and his wife. It was possible if he could garner the resilience to diminish his amoral appetites.

Chronicle of a murder
On a quiet evening in the suburbs a man, observed by many neighbors, walked to a home, rang the bell and shot the woman dead without a sound. Investigators suspected the husband was guilty but the physical evidence was imperfect ballistics data, leaving the authorities with circumstantial evidence to arrive at a guilty verdict. Exploring all known avenues of inquiry they arrived at an agreeable solution; the husband was subject to proving his foolproof alibi was not false. With those tenuous conditions, the District Attorney proceeded to trial.

Vietnam: Vietnam caused a chasm of concepts in the country, as the war progressed two camps of thought arose, those supporting the war and the protesting faction.
The Vietnam War; a nonconformist
The war was in progress when he graduated from high school and he attended college and he would not be drafted. On receiving his degree the possibility of being drafted emerged and he decided against running the risk of being called into the service, leaving to live in Canada. He eventually became a citizen, married, started a business and raised a family. Surreptitiously he managed to visit with family and friends in the US. Because of in-laws, after the war his life in Canada became untenable, causing him to make other decisions for his future.

The Media: The media: newspaper, television and radio are a huge part of our lives. We’re in constant contact. How the media presents news to us can become an issue.
Power and problems of the media
A picture in the local newspaper honoring veterans for Memorial Day contained a caption naming the man in the picture, a resident of the city. The photograph was of Iwo Jima in the Pacific and the man named served in Europe. Incorrect and biased reporting of news by the news media surfaced and were challenged: one international, was resolved in spectacular fashion on television and witnessed by the entire world. A conflict of will erupted between the community and the publisher of newspaper, a battle that comes to a head when the man in the photo is identified.

A middle-aged man’s marriage, career and family were thrown into chaos after losing of his wife in a traffic accident due to reckless driving. Desperately fighting his prospective desolate future he met and began dating a lovely woman and a platonic friendship evolved and intensified, terminating in a loving marriage that changed their lives and personalities. While enjoying an exciting and rewarding future unexpectedly the specter of breast cancer raised its hideous head. If the situation was not firmly accepted and resolved, the ramifications would be devastating to the marriage and family.

Romantic encounter of mixed ages
August, a middle-age man and a young lady, April, began the day not knowing that in the near future their lives would become disastrous. They met in a ten-second timeframe as she attempted to hitch a ride and August was on a company business trip. Seeing her youthful appearance and the fact a thunderstorm was on the horizon, empathic, he stopped for her. A romance followed as they became deeply in love. As their relationship developed they discovered if they had not met on the highway, both would have suffered greatly in the future.

Korean War: Erupting unexpectedly in 1950 the war lasted for almost four years, extracting a toll of two million casualties on each side; the US suffering over 35,000 killed in action.
A series of linked short stories
There were many stories of heroism and extreme sacrifice during this horrific conflict occurring a short five years after WW-II: the war to end all wars. The enemy was fanatical, the fighting brutal, the weather miserable, the armed forces inspiring and the ending, tragic. After four years of seesaw battles in South and North Korea it ended in a stalemate, almost at the original borders. The inspirational tales are related in the form of short stories of the men and women who fought and died in what has become known as the Forgotten War.

A narrative about football
A star high school athlete in the final quarter of the football season is hit and paralyzed; all his hopes and dreams disappear in a split second. While in the hospital he met the woman who became his wife and the man who caused the injury. He, his wife and new close friend embark on college careers: he in teaching, she in nursing. Through a series of events he began coaching from a wheelchair supported by his wife. With his old foe turned close friend as an assistant he evolved from college to the pros and eventually coached a team in the Super Bowl.

World War II; a 500-day adventure
The saga began with the allied invasion of Europe on Utah Beach in Normandy with a novice navy man in his first mortal combat. Transferred to the Pacific he participated in the invasions of Saipan, Tinian, Pelieu, Leyte, the Philippine Sea naval battle witnessing the first kamikaze attack and then Luzon. After a brief respite he participated in the Iwo Jima and Okinawa invasions, a decorated veteran with eight battle stars. In September, he attended high school for a less than a month, quitting and reenlisted underage.

Pearl Harbor was a major loss due to an unexpected attack on Sunday morning when the fleet sailors wore white uniforms while attending church services as the Japanese planes came in for the slaughter. What if those in charge took another approach to the situation, planned differently and trained for an attack acknowledging the Japanese were a legitimate and dangerous enemy? This story unfolds during February to December 1941 on both sides of the Pacific. It was fateful time as a young airman and woman become involved in a courtship.

His father -- undertaking a plan to assist his son -- related a thought-provoking story to his family involving an insidious conspiracy plot with political machinations, deliberate deception and the murder. After listening to the inglorious tale and his father’s explanation of why he related the moralizing narrative the young man developed a capability to determine the correct decision regarding his future.

An immigrant’s saga
Born in Austria he fought with the German Army during WW-I from August of 1914 until December 1918. Leaving the service he decided to follow relatives to America, attending college and entering the business world with his bride by opening a company. The timing was unfortunate: the Great Depression. After ten difficult years in business, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor occurred, WWII erupted and America was at war. In a spate of patriotism he enlisted in the American Army and was involved in the fight with his former countrymen.

An event occurred forcing him to adopt two children and his life changed. Events arose and eventually he became the father of ten with a charming wife; a life he had not planned but accepted without complaint.
