Store Description
I wrote this book to tell a tale. Not to tell anyone HOW TO hunt. There are plenty of those type books but damn few that just tell a simple story. I miss those kinds of books. In this book there is a lot of violence and killing....all directed at waterfowl...none at people. There is strong language.....well, if you are a waterfowler it won't seem like it's strong....hopefully it'll sound just like your buddy sitting on the next seat in the blind. Most of the content is based on my or my buddies hunting trips...a little is just pure "Kentucky Windage"....you just have to allow for that in the goose blind. If you enjoy the book, please let others know. If you don't enjoy it let me know and tell me why. Thanks for your interest.

Heronk
Meet Gustav, a wooden goose decoy. In my book, HERONK, GUSTAV shares with us the adventures of his life. Through many travels and unexpected travails his story offers a unique and insightful glimpse into the world of the waterfowler. Who would think that glass eyes, glued into a wooden head, could see the world so clearly? Gustav begins the quest with his “creation” at the hands of an old German waterfowler/craftsman in Illinois, circa 1930. Over the course of the next half century he is pulled along by the current of rivers, pushed by the energy of providence and influenced by the power of the human spirit. Ultimately and unexpectedly he finds his way home.

Cool....my first book...my first blog...no longer a virgin!

As soon as I figure out what all those button up top do, maybe I'll have a "Personality Plus" Blog.

But for now....any waterfowl hunters out there? Fishermen? Women? Fisherwomen?

Come in, sit a spell, and we'll BS!
