Journey Through Our Minds

“Journey Through Our Minds” represents a talented spectrum of writing from the graduating class of 2010 and the sometimes rocky, sometimes joyful journeys of their lives to this point. The Fort Osage High School seniors of Independence, Missouri in Mrs. Anne Farmer's class share their hearts, their lives, their thoughts, and their words with you in this collection of poetry. With the help of their teacher these students have pushed their words to the edge of hidden potential reminding themselves that they, like William Ernest Henley penned in his poem “Invictus,” are the "master of (their) fate(s): the captain of (their) soul(s).” They now invite you to join them on this journey through their minds. You will never be the same.
