Bananas and Popsicle Puddles: A Spontaneous Fairytale

ByA 3rd Grade Class at PS 397

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Bob the Builder is a little penguin who lives on another planet with friends. He and his friends build houses out of bananas, salami, popsicles and the unusual houses slip, melt and fall apart and result in adventures that are anything but ordinary. This spontaneous oral fairytale originated with a 3rd grade class seated in a circle introducing characters, actions and settings until every student in the class had had a turn. The oral story was recorded and transcribed and the students then illustrated their free verse. With the purchase of this book $10 or more is donated to PS 397 in New York City.
