A. Shakur Towns and his wife Nikki have four daughters. They live in Trenton, NJ. Shakur is a graduate of Lincoln University's MHS Program, where he received his Master of Human Services degree in 2002. He is currently a Program Coordinator for a corrections/mental health project.

Shakur Towns “From the Darkside” is a instant classic in the literary world! This magnificent book contains 37 titles with a mixture of both poetry and short stories that will easily absorb you into a reading frenzy while enticing your imagination for more. The depth and word manipulation is simply beautiful. Yeah… this is that good good. For writers who love to write, you will be inspired and for the non writer, your thirst will be quenched. Excellent work my brother and i will be eagerly awaiting more from you.
