"or Diary of a MAD poet..." 3700 characters limits the ability to review this book, so i have to cut to the most salient points--- i think i meant to write about the other kind of glass eyes: the kind we put on when we see someone begging to be reconized as a human being and we don't/wont. we always cant, just look away whether intentionally or not, is a great example of the Finnegans Wake interpretations one can get from reading this book! wont could be a missing apostrophe instead of the dictionary's (of a person) in the habit of doing something; accustomed definiton...and we definitely are wont to deny someone's humanity if they're homeless or on drugs & alchol! cant means "hypocritical and sanctimonious talk, typically of a moral, religous, or poitical nature" and the cant in this cuntry is so abundant that were it oil gas would be twenty cents a gallon. By revealing his life, Aaron McNees reveals a lot of the cant in see, he was a junkie?... More > Being a veteran of the sex n' drugs n' rock and roll school i can spot a fellow kampfer, and this book is like a poetic Go Ask Alice. glass eyes, which the above exerpt came from, is not as harrowing as S.O.S., an autobiographical masterpiece that reveals more than i ever would!!! your willingness to die so readily for nothing is something everyone who's lived the rockstar life can relate to, and for those of you who haven't, it completely takes the glamour out of the high life that some sheeple still think cool. "The Moon is a Cold Companion" The Moon is a cold companion for the weary eyes of lost souls. She gives no sympathy to those life has forgotten is a Bob Dylanesque line that should go down in history like you don't need a weatherman to tell which way the wind blows, but it'll probably languish in obscurity like the poet who wrote it.< Less
