Price: $5.00
This book, entirely in Arabic, is a tribute to the famous grammarian, Jamal El Din Ibn Malik, born in Andalusia, in 1220. Ibn Malik conceptualized Arabic Grammar in a poem made of 1002 verses and organized, in a concise process, the sequence of Arabic rules. His "Poetic Millenary" was a must, in the historic schools of the Arab world, until the twentieth century. In writing this book, four principles were taken into consideration: 1) Highlighting every single verse at the top of the page; 2) Drawing a graphic diagram that represents the subject matter being taught; 3) Explaining the verse that refers to classical grammar rules; and 4) Selecting appropriate examples from the Holy Koran. Many previous grammarians have explained Ibn Malik’s poetry, this book is the most recent such attempt.
