the island beats a rhythm through my bare feet making me a statue so I can listen be an embryo in the night light as a bat winging its way somewhere new making sighs that cause bloated belly to be unburdened along with stiffness and sinking feelings so there is a way to follow made up of fulfilling stuff that can schange and adapt to what is offrered adding hope as the secret ingredient causing me to remember the steps to the dance of innocence that made me free when I had the courage to step on the dance floor when it was empty and notches on the staff of life were few
