Prefab City

ByAhmed AlmullaMatt Arnold

This book was written by twelve graduate students of architecture (M. Arch.) at Northeastern University in the fall of 2010 as part of our Master’s Research Studio. This book will explore issues related to pre-constructed building strategies in an urban environment, thus the title, Prefab City. As a result of this exploration and analysis, we hope to uncover potential design opportunities in an area that seems to be less well documented and researched in the field. This book is intended to be used by our studio, and could be useful to peers, professors or professionals wanting an integrated understanding of approach to prefabricated building in an urban design.
