"Two wars and a heroin" Manal Abdul Aziz wrote in The Egyptian Mail, 10/6/2008 in part. However he is jailed, tortured and murdered by the security agency for calling for an investigation of Egypt's defeat by Israel in 1967. She semed to be the biggest victime and went into endless sufferings. She was forced by the security officer... More > Hussein Yousry to be his mistress. She gets her revenge by revealing what Yousry had done to her after Nasser died and Sadat announced his correctiveness revolution. Though the character of nagwa had been portrayed in many novels and movies, the author's portrayal of her is unique. The novel is rich with characters< Less
