"Sleepers in the Dust: Andreas of Antioch" This is a lovely story concerning the joys and tragedies in the life of one man in the very early days of Christianity. It is full of history, descriptions of life, homes and places in the eastern Mediterranean under Roman occupation, but the main point of the book is to bring out the discrepancies that have evolved through misinterpretation of scripture regarding assemblies, or churches as we know them today. This is a really good read for Christians in particular, but also for those interested in how the early assemblies were formed and their impact on people of all walks of life. It is a moving story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and applaud the authors for their dedicaation and hard work.
