A tale of one boy's story of growing up during the nineteen sixties in Britain's premier holiday resort, Blackpool, to the accompaniment of the soundtrack of the sixties.
The book deals with my own personal experiences during that marvellous decade starting initially with my brief time living in a mining village in Derbyshire at the start of the sixties before my family moved to Blackpool in 1962. The book describes what life was like for myself, a boy in a normal, working class family attending grammar school and going on to being admitted to University.
It also gives a flavour of what it was like being a teenager growing up in Blackpool when the resort was the main holiday venue for most families before the advent of package holidays changed people's habits.
