"The 0.1%" OK, now let's not beat about the bush. We all know that 99.9% of the stuff published on Lulu is utter bollocks. And I say this with the deepest of respect for those who choose to offer their bollocks in a publishable format on the interweb. But there's a reason it's called 'vanity publishing': vanity and a high-standards of editing do not usually go hand in hand. But this wee book shows what self-publishing can do/be when it's done/been magnificently. Already a big fan of Mr Rogerson's online work (http://cowboydog.blogspot.com/) I desperately wanted to have a hard copy of the work so that I could thrust it into the hands of friends and say READ THIS! (I felt the same way about Hugleikur Dagsson when I first picked up 'Should You Be Laughing At This?') The book does not disappoint. All the sickness and mirth has been lovingly and beautifully edited, creating an object of disquieting pleasure.
