This book is wickedly funny with repartee and witty retorts worthy of literature's great wits and wordsmiths. A Man Named Poet is a deceptively simple allegory of art, artist, love and distraction in the form of a poetic story about an artist's problem with her muse when the muse stops inspiring and falls for a Poet. Highly imaginative and witty! It is hard to believe that this was written by a senior in high school, though obviously one very well read. At any age this is a gem and a joy to read. This young author is one to watch. I'm expectantly waiting her next creation.
