A biblical, philosophical, and historical response to the Reformed doctrines of predestination. This book is an Eastern Orthodox assessment of TULIP, bringing to the table 1,500 years of theology and thinking which is usually absent in the typical Calvinist vs. Arminian debates.

I am a Calvinist, not yet a convert to Orthodoxy. This book is extremely well written, thought provoking, and thorough. I am left with little defense except to see it considered by the academics more intelligent than myself. Zander Renault, almost you have convinced me to be an Orthodox Christian! I have a lot of studying to do in areas I thought I had conquered.
Excellent. Uses Philosophy, Scripture, and the Fathers (including Augustine) to show that Calvinism, TULIP, is a novelty of the 16th Century and not the testimony of Christians / Christianity before then. Easy to read for the average layperson also.
