At night the other side took over-killing and thirsting for human blood, a varmont. During the day she was herself--seventeen-year-old Maggie Beecher who could read people's thoughts upon skin contact. Each morning she'd awake to the splitting, screeching headaches that accompanied the visions, all of which where seen through the eyes of the enemy-the side that took over at night.
