A darkly fascinating adventure into the unknown, we follow the journey of the main character as he embarks on a mission to resurrect Atlantis, which he believes is his destiny. At times, it is a bit frightening and dark, but it is appropriate to the context - it is how it should be! Additionally, Alfred D Byrd's incorporation and knowledge of spirituality (ie, Hebrew scriptures and Kabbalah) is impressive, giving this story unique depth and intelligence. The grand finale kept me on the edge of my seat. No giveaways, of course, just read it to see. A highly intelligent fiction of fantastical worlds beyond that which we live in, and of one of mankind's greatest mysteries.
