I wasn't really big on interracial romance novels, but I have to admit that this one changed my mind. Such a sweet story, I was sad for it to end. Will definitely check out others from this author.
Okay so I just finished Chayton's Tempest and really didn't want to read it because I knew it was the last story in this series and I really didn't want to say goodbye to the Megaloden team but talk about saving the best for last. This story had it all. I won't even begin to go into it. I have to say this is the best series I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I was sad to see it end. Awesome story by an awesome writer! Now I am going to start all over and read them in order!!!! My hats off to Aliyah!!!
I love this story. This has been a great series and having it end with Mav and Tempest seems fitting. Such a wonderful love story and characters that won't soon be forgotten. A must read! Thanks Aliyah for sharing your gift with us all!
Chayton's Tempest is the eighth and final book in the Megalodon Team series and Aliyah Burke saved the best for last. We've seen glimpses of Maverick throughout this wonderful series and we've come to know and love him as a die hard batchelor and ladies man. Maverick gets thrown for a loop when he meets Tempest because she doesn't immediately fall for his charm. When he discovers her secret, Maverick realizes he's going to have to fight a battle tougher than anything he has experienced as a Navy Seal. While we know that Maverick will get his woman in the end, going on this journey with him was a trip not to be missed. The range of emotions that Ms. Burke makes the reader experience while weaving this tale is a fine example of her writing talent. While Tyson and Jayde from Kinkade's Rose are still my favorite couple, Maverick and Tempest's story is, for me, the most poignant and touching. Kudos to Aliyah Burke for delivering another well written story.
So Hard to Say Goodbye to the Megaladon Team! By Julia What can I say? Ms. Aliyah has done it once again. This was an outstanding conclusion to the navy seal stories. I'm truly going to miss these guys. Maverick and Tempest definitely belonged together. I didn't think there were any more despicable parents than Jayde's from Kincade's Rose but Mav's and Tempest aka Sarah's parents took the cake. For Tempest's parents to do that to a young, naive girl was unbelievable. For Mav's parents to do what they did and continued to do to try and control his life was, again, unbelievable. Ms. Aliyah gets a slap on her hand for giving me a scare at one point in the story involving Scott! Actually made me cry! I'm truly going to miss the guys and their soulmates.
