This narrative is the spiritual odyssey of me, an American Indian who tried to live a life of a white man and, in the process denying who I was, and coming to terms of what I had become, "a white man's Indian". A red apple, red on the outside and white on the inside. Through my willing participation, the process of cultural genocide was alive and kicking. I started out with the idea that my experiences would possibly benefit other American Indians whose addictions were out of control. I came to realize that just maybe this story could be an inspiration to anyone who is having difficult times.
